Tour da Parish 10th Anniversary – Don’t Miss the Ride!
St. Bernard Parish, LA – The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce is excited to celebrate the 10th Annual Tour da Parish Bike Ride on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This year’s ride marks a special milestone, bringing cyclists from across the country to experience the scenic beauty and vibrant culture of St. Bernard Parish.
Event Details: The Tour da Parish offers non-competitive routes for all skill levels, with options for 10-mile, 16-mile, 30-mile, and 51-mile rides. Participants will enjoy a memorable journey through the picturesque landscapes of St. Bernard, including the famous “End of the World” ride to Delacroix.
The event starts at the Los Islenos Heritage Site, located at 1345 Bayou Rd, St. Bernard, LA. The 51-mile ride begins at 7:30 AM, with the 30-mile, 16-mile, and 10-mile rides starting shortly after. Registration opens at 6:00 AM.
Riders are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for sign-in, parking, and traffic delays. Please note that the LA 47 (Paris Road) Green Bridge will be closed for the weekend, so riders traveling from that direction will need to plan alternate routes. Pre-registration is available at tourdaparish.com for $50 until October 30. Day-of registration is $75.
Volunteer Opportunities: The St. Bernard Chamber is actively seeking volunteers to assist with route direction and event logistics. Volunteers will receive a free event T-shirt and are invited to join the post-ride festivities, which include food, music, and fun at the End of the World Finish Fest. To sign up, visit tourdaparish.com or email admin@stbernardchamber.org.
End of the World Finish Fest: After the ride, participants can enjoy the End of the World Finish Fest at the Los Islenos Heritage Site, featuring food, music, and entertainment. Swag and merch will also be available for purchase to commemorate the day.
