What is the “Member Card” ?…
The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce recently introduced a “Member Card” featuring discounts to member businesses’ goods and services throughout the St. Bernard Parish and beyond.
To support its members and the community at large, the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce created a “Member Card”. The card includes access to discounts and other offers for goods and services at local businesses (who are also members of the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce). Cards can be used by member businesses with other member businesses throughout the area. This is part of the Member to Member Discount program.
Participating Businesses and Offers: All kinds of businesses can participate in this program including restaurants, chiropractors, hair salons, financial firms, hardware stores, print shops, realtors, photographers, senior care facilities, mortgage companies, bakeries, and more. Virtually any and all member companies can participate in one way or another. Check out our current Member to Member Deals here. Your card is needed when redeeming one of these deals.
What are “Hot Deals” ?…
In addition, St. Bernard Chamber members can offer community discounts, also known as Hot Deals. Members of the Chamber and the community do not need to show a membership card to receive these discounts and/or incentives. Check out our current Hot Deals here.
Keeps Business Local: This program helps to keep the St. Bernard Parish community shopping/buying locally and promotes businesses throughout the St. Bernard Parish (more specifically, those businesses who are members of the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce).
Extends Your Reach: These deals go beyond one or two towns and extend the promotional reach of all of our member businesses throughout the Greater New Orleans Area.
How to Join TO GET STARTED
Which Members Get Cards: As a benefit of membership, each member’s primary contact that is set up in Chamber Master will receive their digital Member Card. If your company wishes to receive more (up to 5), please contact Rhett at rhett@stbernardchamber.org. To get a membership card, an individual must be listed as a representative of the company in their Member Information Center.
Cards for Sale to Non-Members: At this time, these Member to Member deals are not available to non-members, though Professional Memberships are available for $100 for individuals who would like to take advantage of the benefits of St. Bernard Chamber membership.
Be a Member: First, to take advantage of the exclusive Member to Member Deals, one must also be a member of the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce. Membership dues vary according to the size of an organization, (specifically by the number of employees within the business). There are numerous benefits to joining the St. Bernard Chamber, the Membership Card is just one of them. Members also get advertising/promotion on the Chamber website, discounts to other local businesses, networking events, and more.
Decide on an Offer: Decide what type of offer would benefit your business best whether to attract new business or increase your business with existing customers (or both). Your offer can be a business-to-business offer or an offer to consumers as a whole… you decide. The offer also can be for goods, services, or both. Typical offers include discounted goods/services, free consultations/analyses, free trials, and free samples. They might also include give-away items (with a visit to your business and capturing of their contact information). The possibilities are virtually limitless.
Fill out our Form: To be a business offering a discount, the business owner must first decide if they want to create a Member to Member deal, Hot Deal, or both! Once you decide, you set your proposed discount/offer up in their Member Information Center. You can set the dates that the discount will run for.
Below is a helpful video on how to set up these deals in your Member Information Center.
